Arduino projects

Welcome to Arduino! Arduino makes programming small computers called microcontrollers as easy as possible. These are what make objects interactive. You are surrounded by dozens of such microcontrollers every day: they are integrated into timers, thermostats, toys, remote controls, microwave ovens and even some toothbrushes. These devices perform one specific task, and if you don't even notice them - which is often the case - it means they are doing their job very well. They are programmed to detect and control activity using sensors and actuators. Sensors listen to the physical world. They convert the energy you emit when you press buttons, move your arms or shout into electrical signals. Buttons and rotary knobs are sensors that you touch with your fingers, but there are many other types of sensors. Actuators act in the physical world. They convert electrical energy back into physical energy such as light, heat, and motion. Microcontrollers listen to sensors and communicate with actuators. They decide what to do based on a program you write. Microcontrollers and the electronics you attach to them are just the skeleton of your projects. To bring them to life, you'll need to use skills you probably already have. For example, in one of the suggested projects, you'll create an arrow attached to a motor, which you'll place in a box with a rotary knob, to build an indicator that shows whether you're busy or not. In another project, you'll use lights and a tilt sensor on a cardboard frame to create an electronic hourglass. Arduino can make your projects interactive, but only you can make them beautiful. Along the way, we'll give you some suggestions on how you can do this. Arduino was designed to help you make things. To make this simpler, I've kept basic programming and electronics information to a minimum. If you want to learn more about these areas, there are many useful guides available. We will provide some references, and others you can find online at: arduino.cc/starterkit
Curriculum
Modules, lessons and quizzes in the correct order, resuming from your last position.
Introduction
WHAT'S IN THE ARDUINO KIT?
Spaceship interface. Project 2
Your Arduino will help you in a science fiction movie
LOVE-O-METER. Project 3
TURN YOUR ARDUINO INTO A LOVE MACHINE. USING AN ANALOG INPUT, YOU WILL RECORD HOW "HOT" YOU ARE!
COLOR MIXING LAMP. Project 4
Using a tricolor LED and three photoresistors, you'll create a lamp that changes colors smoothly depending on the external lighting conditions.
Mood Cue. Project 5
Using a Servo Motor to Indicate Your Mood
Theremin of Light. Project 6
Building a Light Controlled Sound Instrument
MUSICAL INSTRUMENT. Project 7
Building a musical keyboard
Digital hourglass. Project 8
Motorized wheel. Project 9
PROGRAM THE ARDUINO TO ROTATE A COLOR WHEEL USING A MOTOR
Building a Zoetrope with Arduino. Project 10
Before the internet, television or even movies, animated images were created with the help of zoetropes. They work by rapidly displaying static images that have small variations between them, creating the illusion of movement.
The Crystal Ball. Project 11
Crystal balls are used to "predict" the future. You ask a question, you shake the ball and you get an answer. In this project, the answers will be predefined, but you can write whatever you want.
KNOCK LOCK. Project 12
CREATE YOUR OWN SECRET LOCKING MECHANISM TO KEEP UNWANTED GUESTS AWAY!
TOUCH SENSITIVE LAMP. Project 13
CREATE A LAMP THAT GOES ON AND OFF WHEN YOU TOUCH A CONDUCTIVE OBJECT
Changing the Arduino Logo. Project 14
Acum că ai explorat interacțiunile fizice, e momentul să controlezi un program de pe computer folosind Arduino. When you program the Arduino, it creates a connection to your computer, which you can use to send and receive data between applications. Arduino folosește un chip de conversie care transformă comunicarea USB a computerului în comunicare serială utilizată de microcontroler.
Button Hacking. Project 15
GAIN CONTROL OVER OTHER COMPONENTS AROUND YOU. USING ADDITIONAL CIRCUITRY, YOU CAN "PUSH" BUTTONS WITH THE ARDUINO
