The website www.irisrobotics.ro is operated by SC IRIS ROBOTICS SRL, with registered office at Strada Rândunica nr. 2, Iași, Romania, CUI 37714467, whose business is the presentation and promotion of services and products in the fields of robotics, software solutions, educational kits, interactive solutions and technical support.
The website is also used for entering into contracts with prospective clients, recruitment and hiring.
By accessing and using this website, visitors are asked to carefully read the Terms and Conditions, the Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy before using this site.
2. Definitions
Buyer — any natural or legal person who places an order through the website.
Seller — SC IRIS ROBOTICS SRL, with registered office at Strada Rândunica nr. 2, Iași.
3. Contractual documents
By placing an order, the buyer agrees to the form of communication (email, telephone) through which IRIS Robotics conducts its commercial operations.
4. Subject matter of the sales contract
The subject matter of the contract is the sale of the products ordered on the website. Ownership of the products transfers at the moment the order reaches the client at the indicated address, together with settlement of the payment obligation and signing for receipt on the seller's document.
Delivery is carried out only after confirmation of bank payment and contact by a representative of SC IRIS ROBOTICS SRL.
5. Online sales policy
Access to the website for the purpose of placing an order is permitted to any user. To complete an order, a user account must be created or the billing and delivery details must be filled in.
Users must ensure that all details provided are correct and use the website only for lawful purposes. Users are responsible for the security of their account and for keeping their information up to date. Any attempted unauthorised access will be treated as fraud and reported to the competent authorities.
6. Security of information
IRIS Robotics will not disclose any personal information about its clients to a third party, except where that information is necessary for the processing of an order.
7. Commercial communications
By providing an email address and telephone number during the order process, the client agrees to be contacted by IRIS Robotics regarding the status of the order.
8. Delivery and shipping
Ordered products are delivered by courier or can be collected from the IRIS Robotics office in Iași. Shipping costs are shown when the order is finalised. Personal collection from Iași is free of charge.
All products sold are original and are delivered in appropriate packaging, accompanied by an invoice in accordance with the legislation in force.
9. Warranty
Products sold benefit from a warranty in accordance with Law no. 449/2003 on the sale of products and associated warranties. The warranty conditions follow the manufacturer's commercial policies.
The warranty is void if the faults are found to have been caused through the fault of the client.
10. Complaints and returns
The buyer must contact IRIS ROBOTICS within a maximum of 48 hours of receiving the parcel for any complaint regarding product non-conformity, at the address contact@irisrobotics.ro.
Products that do not match the specifications on the website may be replaced or fully refunded. Products that are non-functional within the first 48 hours (2 working days) may be returned or replaced.
The return request must be notified to the Customer Relations Department within 48 hours of receiving the product. Returned products must be in their original condition, with the original packaging and accessories.
The return shipping costs for defective or non-conforming products are borne by the seller (except in cases of withdrawal/cancellation). Pre-ordered products are not returnable, as they are considered bespoke orders.
11. Service and repairs
Products damaged for technical or inherent reasons may be sent to the company for servicing. The service turnaround time is 20 working days.
Where damage is caused by improper use, the client bears the shipping and service costs.
12. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with OUG 34/2014, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, without giving any reason and without penalty.
13. Liability
IRIS Robotics is not liable for damages of any kind that the buyer or any third party may suffer as a result of IRIS Robotics performing any of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions or as a result of the use of the website.
14. Force majeure
Neither party shall be liable for late performance and/or improper performance of the obligations undertaken where non-performance or improper performance was caused by force majeure.
