Pepper Robot at the inauguration of the newest Unident premium dental clinic in Brașov

On this occasion, we congratulate our friends at Unident Group for the inauguration of a new Unident premium dental clinic in Brașov.
The inauguration was scheduled for March 1, 2021.
We are delighted that one of the 4 Pepper humanoid robots from the Unident team, all implemented by our IRIS Robotics team, will have a permanent place in the new location.
Unident Group is a premium medical brand that offers integrated services of advanced dentistry, 3D dental radiology and digital dental technique services.
And we personally admire them because, even during the pandemic, they have been steadfast in their mission to raise the standards of service in this industry, thus becoming, according to Unident, the first chain of dental clinics in Romania that integrated humanoid robots in the relationship with patients.
The purpose of Pepper robots, a simple one:
To help patients, adults and especially children, to overcome their "fear of the dentist".
Because, with its interactive capabilities and friendly manner, Pepper can create a comfortable atmosphere for patients from the moment they arrive.
It greets them upon entering the clinic, identifying them from the database by their face, through the facial recognition algorithms it is equipped with.
Biometric data is processed by the customer, in compliance with the GDPR, with notice and consent.
It will also detect whether the patient is wearing a mask or not, and if not, it will kindly ask them to wear it, reminding them of the legislative norms in force.
Furthermore, Pepper provides interactive and accessible information about the procedures and services provided within Unident premium clinics, and familiarizes patients with the clinic's team of specialists, so that they get to know them better before the treatment.
And to create a truly unique experience, Pepper can offer music, interactive games, dances, and even hugs!
All so that patients can settle in as easily as possible in the clinic environment, and with the medical team.
And after the procedures are completed, Pepper of course takes care to collect patient feedback, for the continuous improvement of the services.
Overcoming the fear of the dentist through a beautiful and memorable experience, patients can benefit from the necessary procedures to prevent and treat the conditions that affect their dental health, generating an increase in the quality of life.
