Introducing the Print BIG Everest, the latest innovation from Print BIG, which is among our 3D printers. Print BIG Everest is not just another printer; allows printing objects up to two meters high in a single print. Print fast with a new print head capable of more than 500g per hour and thick layers. Everest is our latest effort to push the boundaries of what is possible in 3D printing.
Reduced post-processing
Print BIG BIG-2Meter "Everest" eliminates the need to assemble parts from several smaller prints. By enabling the printing of objects up to two meters high, it drastically reduces the time spent on bonding and assembly, resulting in stronger, seamless end products.
Fast printing with Griffin Ultra
Everest is equipped with the Griffin Ultra hotend capable of printing more than 500gr per hour! This allows insanely tall objects to be produced quickly, drastically reducing print time. That is, the two meter high glass took only 17 hours of printing (8.2 Kg 1.2 mm layer height, 2 perimeters – not a vase mode).
Based on BIG-Meter
Print BIG Everest is based on the market leader BIG-Meter sharing portal components, electronics and heaters. The BIG-2Meter has been designed with a reinforced frame of strong 4080mm profiles (double that of the BIG-Meter) and therefore prints well even without a case. The included case helps maintain the interior ambient temperature. The bed is attached to HIWIN rails installed on the Z-profiles, stabilizing the entire frame as it moves down during printing.

Security
I modified the top cover to keep the filament spools inside the printer so they don't fall on anyone.
Coil replacement and other ongoing maintenance and assembly work will require work at height. Please check local regulations for safety equipment and instructions required when working at such heights. We have found a platform ladder to be more convenient and safer than a standard ladder, especially when climbing with a coil in your hands.
Please note that the Print BIG does not include a ladder or other safety equipment with the printer. We recommend that you source these locally based on your specific safety requirements and regulations.
