Who is IRIS Robotics
IRIS Robotics is an engineering company in Iași, Romania, founded in 2017 and the official distributor in Romania for Unitree, Pepper, NAO, Temi, EduRobot, Prusa and CreatBot. It supplies and integrates humanoid robots and Embodied AI systems (Unitree, AgiBot, PNDbotics, Pepper, NAO and more), 3D printers and scanners, and custom software — combining hardware with AI software development, integration, training and technical support for research, education and companies across Romania and Europe. More than a distributor, we build custom AI applications (voice, LLM/ChatGPT), integrate robots into real labs and workflows, and support procurement through EU funds and public tenders.
Our story
The name I.R.I.S. comes from the acronym Intelligent Robots, Independent Systems and underpins the vision of our company.
IRIS ROBOTICS is a company based in Iași, founded in the summer of 2017 by Andrei Iulian Marin, offering high-end engineering solutions. Our vision is to build Romania's favourite technology ecosystem for automation, animatronics and robotics, where our clients, employees and partners share their experience with one another and pool resources to create value for everyone.
We distribute 3D printers, humanoid robots and bespoke software solutions. From software to humanoid robots and 3D printers, IRIS Robotics helps you achieve what others do not even realise is possible.
Current trends show that introducing automation into repetitive tasks in healthcare, manufacturing and hazardous environments will also drive growth in the entertainment sector, for which we create animatronic robots tailored to each client's needs.
