Robotic arm DOFBOT SE AI Vision Special Edition ROS Python

DOFBOT SE is a robotic arm with 6 degrees of freedom (6DOF), developed on the basis of a virtual machine system. It doesn't require an embedded development board like the Jetson NANO or Raspberry Pi. It can be controlled by a PC and programmed with an STM32 controller for various functions.

Uses the ROS control system to simplify the complex control of 6DOF servo movements. It enables motion planning, MoveIt simulation, collision detection and other useful functions.

The robotic arm is equipped with a 3 MP camera. This, along with machine vision algorithms, enables color tracking and recognition. It also includes features like pattern training, garbage sorting, and gesture recognition.

Whether you are a beginner or more experienced, DOFBOT SE is a cost-effective robot learning kit for you.

Development of the virtual machine system

Based on the virtual machine system, control decisions are generated through the virtual machine like a PC, without the need for built-in development boards, simplifying the learning and use process. (Mac not supported)

ROS robot control system

The integrated ROS system simplifies complex 6 DOF servo motion control and supports functions such as direct solution, inverse solution and motion planning.

AI vision functions

It offers MoveIt simulation, collision detection, color tracking and recognition, item retrieval, gesture recognition and many other features.

Various remote control methods

The robot can be controlled based on a multifunctional mobile application, wireless joystick or PC software.

Professional hardware configuration

It includes a 30MP camera module, a multi-functional extension board, 5*15KG servos + 1*6KG servos, and the whole robotic arm is made of white anodized aluminum, which is aesthetic and durable.
