Description

The SEB Electronic Animated Eyes is a Raspberry Pi board accessory to control two 128x128 pixel OLED or TFT LCD screens and also provides four analog sensor inputs. It's perfect for making cosplay masks, props, scary Halloween sculptures, animatronics, robots... anything you want to add a pair of animated eyes!

This product works with any Raspberry Pi with a 2x20 Header (Pi B+, Pi 2, Pi 3, Pi Zero, etc), you'll get the best performance from a Pi3 because it renders high performance in OpenGL!

SEB electronic animated eyes can be used to connect it directly to a Raspberry Pi board, and then you can start developing your own project. Includes two displays and connection cables, but no Raspberry Pi board.

For all the details on how to use this kit, consult our specialists, who are at your disposal.

Raspberry Pi offers several potential advantages:

Graphically accelerated 3D graphics (OpenGL), including antialiasing.
A faster processor, more RAM, and two SPI buses could result in faster frame rates.
Standard graphics formats such as JPEG, PNG and SVG can be decoded; preprocessing step.
The eye rendering code is written in a high-level language - Python - which makes customization easy.
If you want a smaller, less powerful version, check out the original Teensy Eyes! These are more "arduino-friendly" to build and customize.

*This kit does not include the Raspberry pi board.
